About Appalachian Premier Volleyball Academy
Appalachian Premier Volleyball Academy, located in Kingsport, TN, and serving Tri-cities and beyond, is a member club of the Junior Volleyball Association (JVA), Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), USA Volleyball (USAV) and the Southern Region Volleyball Association (SRVA). We are a community-based non-profit organization committed to training and developing student-athletes through competitive participation in volleyball. APVA believes every child should be offered the opportunity to develop skills that will enable them to excel and compete at the interscholastic, regional, and national levels of youth volleyball.
We strive to provide a solid foundation of fundamental and technical skills to help participants develop as athletes and individuals. We commit to providing positive, relational, and knowledgeable coaching for our players in a safe and challenging environment to reach their maximum potential. Teaching positive lifelong character traits, including sportsmanship, grit, leadership, and a team-focused mentality, are essential to the success of our players and teams. Our players are challenged to excel in personal growth for the betterment of their team, the organization, and their prospective communities. APVA is committed to creating a family and community environment where teams, coaches, and leadership work to build relationships across age groups and abilities.
